OCS Reset Procedure

  1. Connect the Cable of GDS to the Data Link Connector in Driver Side Crash Pad Lower Panel, and turn ON the GDS.
  2. Select the "S/W Management" and "Car Model".

  3. Select "Occupant Classification System" and "Body Sensor Reset".

    CAUTION:
    • Erase OCS Diagnostic Codes before starting the 'Body Sensor Reset'.
  4. Perform the "Body Sensor Reset" procedure according to the GDS screen message.

CAUTION:
  • Erase the SRSCM Diagnostic Codes after completing the OCS reset.
DTC Code Code Name Description
B1763 ECU Defect
  1. Reset (Calibration setting) is not completed
  2. ECU is damaged from physical stress
B1764 MAT Defect
  1. Mat and ECU are not connected.
  2. Mat is damaged from physical stress.
B1767 Algo cut-off
  1. Too much humidity.
B1111 IGN voltage high
  1. IGN voltage high.
B1112 IGN voltage low
  1. IGN voltage low.
B1603 CAN bus off
  1. CAN Bus is not working.
B1697 ACU communication error
  1. CAN Bus is not working.
  2. ACU is not working.
