Open Check

  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Disconnect Stop Signal Electronic Module (SSEM) and HECU connector.
  3. Measure resistance between ESS control terminal of Stop Signal Electronic Module (SSEM) harness connector and ESS brake lamp control terminal of HECU harness connector.

    Specification:  Approx. below 1Ω

  4. Is the measured value within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair open in control circuit between the Stop Signal Electronic Module (SSEM) and HECU and then, Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
