Variant Coding (In Case That The GDS Isn't Connected To The Internet)

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. IG "ON".
  3. Perform variant coding in "Vehicle S/W Management"  menu of the GDS. (Fig 1)
  4. Log in GSW website (http://ccc.hyundai-motor.com/) and then click "VIN Search" at the top center side of the screen.
  5. Select ESP (ESC) and fill in VIN number (or body number) correctly, and check ESP (ESC) code. (Fig 2)
  6. Fill in the blank with ESP (ESC) code checked in GSW web site. (Fig 3)
  7. Check whether current variant code corresponds to the options which are applied to the vehicle.
  8. IG "OFF" and wait for about 10 seconds, and then IG "ON". Go to "Variant Code Reset" Procedure.
    NOTE: In case that the state of HAC is enabled, operate "Longitudinal G Sensor Calibration" by GDS. (refer to C1285 )
