Component Inspection

1. Substitute with a known - good the battery sensor.
2. Turn off the ignition switch.
3. Connect the GDS and go to "Current Data".
4. Clear DTC and Test-drive under the enable conditions.
5. After the road test, check the "DTC".
6. Is the DTC "U04B1" displayed again?

YES 

• Substitute with a known - good ECM (PCM) and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace ECM (PCM) and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

NO 

• Replace the battery sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
