Component Inspection

1. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " mode.
2. IG "ON".
3. Using a GDS, Clear DTC.
4. IG "OFF".
5. Disconnect ECU's connector connected to P-CAN bus.
6. IG "ON".
7. Connect GDS and select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)  " mode.
8. Are any DTCs present?

YES 

• Go to step  1 of the component inspection and disconnect another ECU's connector connected to CAN bus in step  5.
• Repeat above step until test completed on all ECU in CAN bus.
• If DTC is present after above test, substitute with a known-good FPCM and check for proper operation. If problem is corrected, replace FPCM and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.

NO 

• Fault is intermittent caused by faulty FPCM. Go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
