DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Case 1 DTC Strategy
  • O2 sensor Controller Malfunction
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Poor Power supply
  3. Faulty ECM (PCM)
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch is on condition
  • Battery voltage is between 10V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • ASIC data checksum error
Diagnosis Time
  • 10 seconds
Case 2 DTC Strategy
  • Knock Acquisition check
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
Threshold Value
  • Integrity of the knock acquisition is not correct
Diagnosis Time
  • 200 revs
Case 3 DTC Strategy
  • Fuel injector driver boost voltage check
Enable Conditions
  • Engine speed is faster than 32 RPM
  • Time delay after "Engine Running" elapsed is more than 1 second
Threshold Value
  • Boost voltage is too high or too low
Diagnosis Time
  • 3 seconds
Case 4 DTC Strategy
  • Waste gate driver over temperature
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 8V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Power stage output for electrical waste gate has over temperature
Diagnosis Time
  • 0.2 seconds
Case 5 DTC Strategy
  • H-bridge (ETC, Port Flap, waste gate) malfunction, Output driver malfunction, BARO sensor malfunction, Power Relay driver malfunction, 5V power supply driver malfunction
Enable Conditions
  • Ignition switch is on condition
Threshold Value
  • Microcontroller communication error is detected
Diagnosis Time
  • 1 second
MIL On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
