Fuel Line Pressure Check

  1. Constant pressure type (including EQUUS, GENESIS 3.8 among variable type)
    1. Remove fuel pump relay. (If fuel pump relay is installed inside of the junction box, remove fuel pump relay fuse (20A))
    2. Start the engine, wait until engine stops.
    3. Install fuel pressure gage between the deliver pipe and fuel hose. (GDI, install between high pressure pump and fuel hose)

    <Normal pressure at idle>

    1. Real low fuel pressure (Absolute) follows target low fuel pressure (Absolute) at idle.
