Monitoring DTC Status

  1. Connect GDS to "DATA LINK CONNECTOR (DLC)".
  2. IG key "ON", engine "OFF".
  3. Select "Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC)"  with GDS.
  4. Monitor the Diagnostic Trouble Code and present of the trouble code.
  5. Erase the DTC.

  6. Is the DTC output again?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent caused by poor contact in "DRIVER POWER OUTSIDE MIRROR_SMART CONNECTOR"'s connector or was repaired and DDM ("DRIVER DOOR MODULE") memory was not cleared.
    • Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
