DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Circuit monitoring
  1. Poor connector connection
  2. Above switch operating range
  3. Faulty Inhibitor Switch_SBC
  4. Faulty Parking switch_SBW
Enable Condition
  • Ignition "ON"
  • Battery voltage is higher than 10V
Threshold Value
  • When S1 + S2 is out of the range of between 97 and 103%
Detecting Time
  • 4s
Fail Safe
  • SBC
    • Normal status: Previous gear recognition
    • Abnormal status: Above 3rd position possible (shift 3rd to 8th gear is OK but 1st, 2nd gear not engaged)
  • SBW
    1. Display warning messages on the cluster (Processed in gearbox)
    2. Limp Home Mode (Processed in gearbox)
    1. In case of requesting Non P from P: Parking release request to E-shifter CAN flag ON
    2. In case of requesting P from Non P -> No entry into P
    3. A/B REACTION occurs when FET2 is disconnected, so FET2 is OFFRelease request
