Component Inspection

  1. Ignition "OFF".
  2. Connect Data Link Connector (DLC) to GDS.
  3. Ignition "ON"
  4. Move Transmission Range Switch from "P" range to "D" range.
  5. Check the "Current Data" about related DTC with GDS.

  6. Are the parameters displayed correctly?

    YES 

    • Fault might be intermittent caused by poor contact in the sensor's and/or ECU's connector or was repaired and ECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.

    NO 

    • Carefully re-do this troubleshooting guide steps.
    • If problem still occurs, replace Transmission Range Switch and then go to "VERIFICATION OF REPAIR " procedure.
