Check Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance

  1. Ignition switch is turned "OFF".
  2. Start the engine.
  3. Measure the voltage between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and ground.

    Specification:  Approx. 1.0 ~ 2.5V (at Idle)

  4. Is the measured voltage normal?

    YES 

    • Visually check contamination by foreign material at fuel pressure sensor and Clear DTC and Test-drive under the enable conditions. After the road test, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known-good fuel pressure sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
