DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Electrical check
  1. Poor Connection
  2. Short to ground in harness
  3. Faulty OTS
  4. ECM
Enable Conditions
  • Battery voltage is between 6V and 16V.
  • Engine coolant temperature is lower than 120°C (248°F).
Prerequisite condition
  • Engine Oil Temperature (EOT) is higher than 150°C (302°F).
  • EOT sensor signal circuit is shorted to ground.
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuously
MIL On Condition
  • 3 driving cycles
