Monitor DTC Status

- Plug GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- Turn "ON" the ignition switch and start the engine.
- Warm up the engine to the normal operating temperature.
- Read the "DTC State" parameter.
Clear the DTC using the GDS and see if the DTC returns by performing actuation.
- Did the same DTC return?
YES
- Replace the transfer case with an usable one and check for proper operation. If It works normally, replace the transfer case. Then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
- Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
NO
- Repair relevant component(s) as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
