Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
Main Action
  • Plausibility check during deceleration fuel cut-off phase
  1. Poor connection or damaged harness
  2. Front HO2S
Prerequisite condition
  • Fuel cut-off is functioning for more than 3 seconds.
  • Upstream O2 sensor operative readiness is detected.
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Upstream HO2S current is greater than 12 mA and is less than 1 mA.
Diagnosis Time
  • 2 Seconds

  • 3rd Driving Cycle
