DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

  • Signal check
  1. Open or Short in harness
  2. Poor connection or damaged harness
Prerequisite condition
  • Desired alternator voltage duty cycle is between 3.12% and 94.5%.
  • Engine speed is higher than 240 rpm.
  • Battery voltage is between 10.73V and 16V.
Threshold Value
  • Control circuit is open or shorted.
Diagnosis Time
  • Continuously
Mil On Condition
  • No MIL ON (DTC only)
