EWGA Inspection

Monitor "Current Data". during actuating EWGA "Actuation Test".

Visually check the position of the EWGA during activation referring to below figures.

Is parameter displayed within specifications?
YES
- Check for poor connection between ECM and component: backed out terminal, improper mating, broken locks or poor terminal to wire connection. Repair as necessary and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- Substitute with a known-good EWGA and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace EWGA and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
