Short Check

  1. Turn "Off" the ignition switch.
  2. Disconnect ESP OFF switch.
  3. Turn "On" the ignition switch.
  4. Measure voltage between ESP (ESC) OFF switch signal terminal of the ESP (ESC) harness connector and chassis ground.

    Specification:  Battery voltage

  5. Is the result within specifications?

    YES 

    NO 

    • Repair short to battery in signal circuit between the ESP OFF switch harness connector and ESP (ESC) and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
