Monitor GDS Data

  1. Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
  2. Turn the ignition ON and start the engine.
  3. Check if there are any DTCs related to the SCC system. If there is a DTC related to the system, repair it first and diagnose the LDWS/LKAS.
  4. Does the same DTC return?

    YES 

    • Replace the SCC with usable ones and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace the SCC and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Fault is intermittent, caused by poor contact of connector or wire harness. Or, the LDWS/LKAS memory was not cleared after repair. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor contact, bending, corrosion, deterioration, or damage.
    • Repair or replace relevant component(s) as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".
