Check Fuel Pressure Sensor Performance

  1. IG "OFF".
  2. Engine start.
  3. Measure the voltage between signal terminal of fuel pressure sensor harness connector and ground.

    Specification  : approx. 1.9 ~ 3.2V (in idle)

  4. Is the measured voltage within specification?

    YES 

    • Visually check contamination by foreign material at fuel pressure sensor and Clear DTC and Testdrive under the enable conditions. After the road test, go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR ".

    NO 

    • Substitute with a known - good fuel pressure sensor and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace fuel pressure sensor and go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
