Monitor GDS Data
- IG "ON".
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector. (DLC)
- Turn the steering wheel to the left and right.
- Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor (CAN) (ESP Only)" parameter on the "Current Data"
menu of the GDS.
YES
- Fault is caused by having been repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Clear the DTC and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
NO
- When steering wheel is turned, is the parameter changed?
YES
- Set the steering wheel so that the wheels point straight ahead.
- Keep the steering wheel in center position.
- Monitor the "Steering Angle Sensor (CAN) (ESP Only)" parameter on the "Current Data" menu of the GDS.
Specification: Approx. 0 DEG
- Is parameter displayed within specification?
YES
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
NO
- This DTC may be caused by an incorrect calibration of the steering angle sensor. Perform the calibration of the sensor in "Vehicle S/W Management" menu on GDS again.
NO
- Go to "TERMINAL AND CONNECTOR INSPECTION " procedure.
