CAN Communication Line Check

■ Inspect CAN Line Open 

1. Ignition "OFF"
2. Measure resistance between EPS connector and CGW connector (CAN-HIGH).
3. Measure resistance between CGW connector and 4WD connector (CAN-HIGH).

   Specification  : 1 Ω below

   1 

4. Is the measured resistance within specification?

   Yes 

   • Substitute with a known - good "EPS ECU" or "4WD ECU" and check for proper operation. If the problem is corrected, replace "EPS ECU" or "4WD ECU" and go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.

   No 

   • Check for open/short in harness.
   • Repair as necessary and then go to "Verification of Vehicle Repair " procedure.
