DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • MM CAN Communication Check
  • BCM are not Sleep condition
    1. MM CAN High Line short to battery
    2. MM CAN Low Line short to battery
    3. MM CAN High Line short to ground
    4. MM CAN Low Line short to ground
    5. MM CAN High and Low line short to each other
    6. MM CAN High Line short to 5V power
    7. MM CAN High Line open
    8. MM CAN Low Line open
    CAUTION: After sleep condition, CAN High Line is 0V and CAN Low Line is battery voltage.
Enable Conditions
  • BCM power on (Under normal communication)
Threshold Value
  • MM CAN high: 0V or B+
  • MM CAN low: 0V or B+
Diagnostic Time
  • Immediately
DTC Erasing Time
  • DTC is erased immediately after fault has been corrected
