Operation Using the Manual Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2016 Kia K900. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. The driver's side manual switch can operate the seat when the following conditions are satisfied.
    • The manual switch is on (slide forward/backward, back-rest forward/backward, front height adjustment up/down, rear height adjustment up/down, cushion extension forward/backward, and headrest up/down).
  2. The PSM's maximum operation time depends on the motor.
    • Slide: 20 s ± 2 s
    • Back-Rest: 35 s ± 3 s
    • Front height adjustment: 10 s ± 1 s
    • Rear height adjustment: 20 s ± 1.5 s
    • Headrest: 10 s ± 1 s
    • Cushion extension: 15 s ± 1 s
  3. The manual switch overrides a self diagnosis forced operation command. (The system ignores the forced operation)
