DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible Cause
DTC Strategy
  • Evaluate O2 sensor heater performance
  1. Related fuse blown or missing
  2. Heater control circuit open or short
  3. Power supply circuit open or short
  4. Poor connection or damaged harness
  5. Faulty HO2S
Enable Conditions
  • Upstream O2 sensor normal heating time is more than 1 seconds
  • Battery voltage is between 11V and 16V
Threshold Value
  • Upstream O2 sensor tip temperature is lower than 670°C (1238°F)
Diagnostic Time
  • 20 seconds
Mil On Condition
  • 2 Driving Cycles
