Monitor GDS Data
- Connect GDS to Data Link Connector (DLC).
- ENG "ON".
- Actuate "ESS Brake Lamp Relay (ESC Only)" on the "Actuation Test" menu of the GDS.
Specification :If emergency lamp is flashing during operation
- Is the lamp flashing?
YES
- Fault is intermittent caused by poor connection, was repaired and HECU memory was not cleared. Thoroughly check connectors for looseness, poor connection, bending, corrosion, contamination, deterioration, or damage. Repair or replace as necessary and then go to "VERIFICATION OF VEHICLE REPAIR " procedure.
