DTC Description

When replacing a ECM (PCM), the VIN must be programmed into the ECM (PCM). If there is no VIN in the ECM (PCM) memory, the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) turns on and ECM (PCM) sets a P0630 DTC.

CAUTION: The programmed VIN cannot be changed. When writing the VIN, confirm the VIN carefully.
