DTC Information: DTC Detecting Condition

Item Detecting Condition Possible cause
DTC Strategy
  • Voltage Monitoring
  1. External noise
  2. Faulty pressure sensor
Enable Conditions
  • When the gradient of the sensor signal per 10 msec is larger than 15bar when any control is not activated
  • After normal operation of brake light switch, If the pressure sensor signal is higher than 15bar and brake light switch is low for 3sec when any control is not activated, ECU detects the failure
  • During driving more than 40 km/h and stop 3 times, if master cylinder pressure is not changed, ECU detects the failure
Fail Safe
  • Inhibit the ESP (ESC)/DBC/AVH control and allow the ABS/EBD control
  • The ESP (ESC)/DBC/AVH warning lamp is activated
