Installation Procedure
Starter (2) - Install
- Starter Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [3x] - Fastener Specifications
Engine Wiring Harness Bracket (5) - Install
- Engine Wiring Harness Bracket Bolt (4) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
- Electrical Connector (3) - Connect
- Battery Positive and Negative Cable (2) - Install
- Battery Positive and Negative Cable Nut (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Water Pump Module (1) & Lower Crankcase Extension Coolant Hose (2) - Install
- Hose Clamp (3) @ Lower Crankcase Extension - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Water Pump Bolt (2) - Install and tighten [2x] - Fastener Specifications
Water Pump Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Connect the electrical connector and install the wiring harness retainers as necessary. (1)
Water Pump Inlet Hose (4) @ Engine Oil Cooler - Install
- Hose Clamp (5) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Water Pump Inlet Hose (4) @ Water Pump Module - Install
- Hose Clamp (3) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
- Radiator Outlet Hose (1) @ Water Pump Module - Install
- Hose Clamp (2) - Engage - Hose Clamp Replacement Guidelines - Spring Type
Radiator Outlet Hose Bracket Bolt (1) - Install and tighten - Fastener Specifications
Underbody Front Air Deflector (1) - Install
Underbody Front Air Deflector Bolt (1) - Install and tighten [10x] - Fastener Specifications
- Underbody Front Air Deflector Retainer (2) - Install [2x]
- Fill the cooling system. Cooling System Draining and Filling (GE 47716)
- Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection
