Installation Procedure

    Connect the electrical connector.

  2. Install the 2 wire harness retainers.
  3. Liftgate Power Assist Actuator (1) - Install
    4. NOTE:

    Ensure the clip is fully seated when the actuator is reinstalled. If the clip cannot be fully seated, a new rod should be installed.

  4. First install the liftgate end of the liftgate power assist actuator (1) and then install the body side.
  5. Ensure the retainer/clips are fully seated when actuator is reinstalled. If a clip cannot be fully seated, a new actuator should be installed.

    Install the body wiring harness junction block (2) and engage the retaining tab (1) into the body wiring harness junction block bracket (3).

    Quarter Stowage Pocket Door (1) - Install

  8. Install the wire harness grommet.

    NOTE:

    Back Body Opening Side Lower Gutter (1) - Install

    Back Body Opening Side Center Gutter - Install

  11. Connect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9)
  12. Perform the necessary programming and setup procedure: Liftgate Calibration
