Circuit/System Verification
- Ignition ON.
- Verify the disable switch Indicator turns on and off when pressing and releasing the Stop/Start Select Switch.
- If the indicator does not turn on and off
Refer to: Stop/Start System Malfunction
- Go to next step: If the indicator turns on and off
- If the indicator does not turn on and off
- Verify that no other DTCs are set except for DTC P15A3
- If any other DTCs are set
- Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set
- Replace the K9 Body Control Module.
- Verify DTC P15A3 does not set while operating the vehicle within the conditions for running the DTC.
- If the DTC sets
Replace the K20 Engine Control Module.
- Go to next step: If the DTCs does not set
- If the DTC sets
- A fault is not currently present and may be an intermittent condition.
