Removal Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2022 Cadillac CT4. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Apply the parking brake.
  2. Place the transmission control in the Neutral position.
  3. NOTE:

    The transmission control lever boot and knob are replaced as an assembly.

    Using a flat bladed trim tool, detach the manual transmission control lever boot (2) from the console.

  5. Lift the manual transmission control lever boot (1) to access the manual transmission control lever knob bolt (3).
  6. Remove the manual transmission control lever knob bolt (3), then lift off the manual transmission control lever boot and knob assembly (1, 2).

    Using a flat-bladed plastic trim tool, release the retaining clips.

  8. Reposition the front floor console trim plate (1) to access the electrical connectors.

    NOTE:

    Some components not shown for graphic clarity.

    Disconnect the instrument panel harness connector (1) from the front floor console wiring harness extension harness.

    Front Floor Console Trim Plate (1) - Remove

    Disconnect the electrical connector.

  12. Wireless Charging System Module Bolt (1) - Remove [2x]
  13. Wireless Charging System Module (2) - Remove
