Circuit/System Verification

DTC C0520 with failure type byte 54 or 56 

  1. Verify no other DTCs are set, except DTC C0520.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  2. Perform the Vehicle Dynamic Sensor Offset Calibration. Refer to: Vehicle Dynamic Sensor Offset Calibration
  3. Verify DTC C0520 does not set with failure type byte 54 or 56.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Replace the B284 Vehicle Dynamic Sensor.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  4. All OK.

DTC C0520 with failure type byte 49, 92, or A2 

  1. Verify no other DTCs are set, except DTC C0520.
    • Go to next step: If no other DTCs are set 
  2. Clear DTCs and operate the vehicle in the conditions that the customer experienced.
  3. Verify DTC C0520 does not set with failure type byte 49, 92, or A2.
    • If the DTC sets 

      Replace the B284 Vehicle Dynamic Sensor.

    • Go to next step: If the DTC does not set 
  4. All OK.
