Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (KL9) .
  2. Drive Belt (1) - Remove - Drive Belt Replacement .
  3. Generator Shield (3) - Remove - Generator Shield Replacement (LTG) .

  4. Generator Nut (1) - Hand tighten

  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  6. Battery Positive Cable Nut (1) - Remove

  7. Starter Solenoid Cable(2) - Remove
  8. Lower the vehicle.
  9. Electrical Connector (3) - Disconnect

  10. Generator Nut (2) - Remove
  11. If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud (1).
  12. Generator (4) - Remove
