Installation Procedure

    CAUTION:

    Refer to Fastener Caution .

  1. Install the battery positive cable nut (2) to the B+ generator stud and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).
  2. Install battery positive cable nut (2) and terminals (Starter/Generator), to the starter solenoid.Tighten to 10 N.m (88 lb in)
  3. Install retainers (3) to the engine.

  4. Install the battery positive cable terminal nut (1) to the fuse block and tighten to 16 N.m (12 lb ft).
  5. Install battery positive cable clamp nut (2) to the battery post and tighten to 10 N.m (88 lb in)
  6. Install engine control module (ECM) and battery cover.
  7. Reset the radio channel presets.
