Liftgate Side Sensor Replacement (Terrain)

Preliminary Procedure Remove the upper liftgate trim finish panel. Refer to Liftgate Upper Trim Finish Panel Replacement .
1	Liftgate Side Upper Sensor Screw CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 2.5 N.m (22 lb in)
2	Liftgate Side Upper Sensor Retainer (Qty: 3)
3	Liftgate Procedure Begin from the bottom of the applique using a trim-type tool, release the retainers working upward toward the rear end spoiler. When the last retainer is released, lift the bottom edge of the applique and remove from under the edge of the rear end spoiler. Disconnect the electrical connector. TIP: The liftgate side upper sensor is serviced with the applique, not separately.
