Camshaft Position Sensor Replacement - Exhaust

Callout Component Name
Preliminary Procedure 
Remove the camshaft cover heat shield. Refer to Camshaft Cover Heat Shield Replacement .
1 Camshaft Position Sensor Fastener
CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .


Tighten 
10 N.m (89 lb in)
2 Camshaft Position Sensor

Procedure

  1. Disconnect the electrical wiring harness connector from the camshaft position sensor.
  2. Install a NEW seal if reusing the camshaft position sensor.
