Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection

  2. Remove Air Cleaner Outlet Duct (1)Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement

  3. Slide the engine wiring harness junction block cover release tab (1), in the direction shown.
  4. Remove Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Cover (2)
  5. Remove Engine Wiring Harness Junction Block Nut (3)
  6. Remove Generator Cable (4)
  7. Disengage Retainer Clip (5)
  8. Disengage Retainer (6)

  9. Disengage Retainer Clip (2)

  11. Reposition away Generator Terminal Protective Boot (1)
  12. Remove Generator Nut (3)
  13. Remove Generator Cable (2)
