Installation Procedure

- Install Front Lower Control Front Link (1)
- Install Front Lower Control Front Link Bolt (2)
Install a NEW bolt.
- Front Lower Control Front Link Nut (1)
- Tighten Front Lower Control Front Link Bolt (2)
Tighten
- First Pass: 100 N.m (74 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (90-105 degrees)
- Install and tighten Steering Knuckle Nut (1)
Tighten
- First Pass: 40 N.m (30 lb ft)
- Final Pass: (120-135 degrees)
- Install Strut Assembly (1) @ Steering Knuckle. Refer to Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 or FE3 With F55) Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE2 Without F55) Strut Assembly Removal and Installation (FE4 With F55)
- Install Front Stabilizer Shaft Link (1) @ Strut Assembly. Refer to Stabilizer Shaft Link Replacement (V-Series)
- Install Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield (1). Refer to Front Compartment Lower Noise Shield Replacement (Front Wheel Drive)
- Install Front Wheelhouse Liner (1). Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement (V-Series)
- Install Front Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector (1). Refer to Front Brake Rotor Cooling Duct Deflector Replacement
- Install the front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation (V-Series)
- Measure and adjust the wheel alignment. Refer to Wheel Alignment Measurement
CAUTION:
This vehicle is equipped with torque-to-yield or single use fasteners. Install a NEW torque-to-yield or single use fastener when installing this component. Failure to replace the torque-to-yield or single use fastener could cause damage to the vehicle or component.
