Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the battery negative cable. Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (Without KL9) Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection (With KL9)

  3. Remove Air Cleaner Assembly (1) Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

  5. Remove Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct (2) Air Cleaner Outlet Front Duct Replacement
  6. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  8. Remove Drive Belt (1) Drive Belt Replacement

  10. Remove Protective Cap (1)
  11. Remove Generator Nut (2)
  12. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)

  16. Disconnect Electrical Connector (1)
  17. Remove Generator Nut (2)
  18. Remove Generator Bolt (5)
  19. If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud. (3)
  20. Remove Generator (4)
