Removal Procedure

  1. Remove Generator Shield (3) Generator Shield Replacement

  2. Install the generator nut (1) and finger tighten.

  3. Electrical Connector (1) → Disconnect

  4. Remove Drive Belt (1) Drive Belt Replacement
  5. Raise and support the vehicle. Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle

  6. Remove Protective Cap (1)
  7. Remove Generator Nut (2)
    8. NOTE:

    Anti-rotation tab is in the 12 o'clock position (arrow).

  8. Remove Battery Positive Cable (3)

  9. Remove Generator Nut (1)
  10. If necessary, remove the generator mounting stud (2).
  11. Remove Generator (3)
