Preliminary Procedure: Remove the liftgate applique. Refer to Liftgate Applique Replacement (Equinox w/UVC) or Liftgate Applique Replacement (Equinox wo/UVC) or Liftgate Applique Replacement (Terrain) .
1	Liftgate Release Switch Procedure Disconnect the electrical harness from the applique. Depress the clip fingers and push outward to remove the release switch from the applique.
