Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) trim pad. Refer to Instrument Panel Trim Pad Replacement .

  3. Remove 2 plastic rivet retainers which secure the global positioning system (GPS) antenna to the I/P carrier.
  4. Remove the radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
  5. Remove the GPS antenna from the retaining clip at the rear of the radio.
  6. Remove the GPS antenna loop lead from the HVAC duct work.
  7. Route the GPS antenna with the coaxial antenna lead from the I/P carrier.
