Preliminary Procedure Remove the liftgate lower trim panel. Refer to Liftgate Lower Trim Finish Panel Replacement (Wagon) .
1	Liftgate Latch Screw (Qty: 3) CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten 9 N.m (80 lb in)
2	Liftgate Latch Assembly Procedure Disconnect the electrical connector. Adjust the liftgate if needed.

CAUTION:

Refer to Fastener Caution .

Tighten
9 N.m (80 lb in)

Liftgate Latch Assembly

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector.
Adjust the liftgate if needed.
