Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Side Front Door , Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Utility)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Side Rear Door (Extended Cab P/U Only) .

  2. Remove the handle retaining bolt.
  3. Release the handle locator tab from the locator cutout, by sliding the handle forward.
  4. Release the rod retainer locks.
  5. Remove the rods from the handle.
  6. Remove the handle from the door.
