Installation Procedure

  1. Install the recliner assembly to the seat.
    2. Fig 1: Locating Recliner Assembly Bolts

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 2 recliner assembly bolts (1) securing the recliner to the seat back frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the recliner assembly bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the 2 recliner assembly bolts (1) securing the recliner to the seat cushion frame.

    Tighten:  Tighten the recliner assembly bolts to 24 N.m (18 lb ft).

  4. Install the cable end to the seat adjuster (2) by inserting the ball (1) through the round opening.
  5. Install the seat adjuster cable (3) to the seat adjuster.
  6. Install the seat back release cable to the recliner assembly. Refer to Seat Back Release Cable Replacement - Front .
  7. Install the seat back cover. Refer to Seat Back Cover and Pad Replacement - Front .
  8. Install the seat cushion cover. Refer to Seat Cushion Trim Cover and Pad Replacement (Bench) .
  9. Install the recliner trim cover to the seat.
  10. Install the recliner handle.
