Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Using Proper Power Steering Fluid Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Apply fluid to the sealing portion of the PSP switch. Refer to Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations in Maintenance and Lubrication.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the PSP switch to the pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the PSP switch to 21 N.m (15.5 lb ft).

    IMPORTANT: Verify the connectors are clean.
  3. Connect the PSP switch connector (3).
  4. Install the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  5. Install the right front engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine - Right in Body Front End.
  6. Lower the vehicle.
