Transfer Case

WARNING: This page is about a different variant/trim than selected.
NOTE: When servicing the transfer case, use ONLY hand tools when removing the fill or drain plugs. If the drain or fill plugs are damaged and need to be replaced, use only replacement plugs that are made from aluminum.

Raise and support the vehicle. Remove the transfer case fill plug. See Fig 1. Fluid should be level at bottom of fill plug opening. Add fluid if necessary. See RECOMMENDED FLUIDS .
