Installation Procedure

  1. Position the EVAP engine purge pipe (1) to the engine.
  2. Insert the purge pipe retaining clip into the fuel rail mounting bracket.

  3. To connect the purge pipe connector (1), press the components together in order to snap the tab (2) in place.
    • Connect the EVAP purge pipe (1) to the chassis purge pipe.
    • Connect the EVAP purge pipe (1) to the EVAP canister purge valve.

  4. Connect the generator harness connector (2).
  5. Connect the TP sensor harness connector (3).
  6. Connect the fuel injector harness multi-way connector.

  7. Install the fuel injection sight shield (2).
  8. Refer to FASTENER NOTICE in Cautions and Notices.

    Install the fuel injection sight shield retaining bolt (3).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fuel injection sight shield to 10 N.m (89 lb in).
