Security Warning Indicator Not Operating Properly

  1. Perform SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Connect scan tool. Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, select instrument panel cluster, special functions and command security message on and off. If indicator does not turn on and off, go to next step. If indicator turns on and off, go to and BODY CONTROL MODULE DIAGNOSTIC CHECK in appropriate BODY CONTROL MODULES article.
  3. Replace instrument cluster. See appropriate ANALOG INSTRUMENT PANELS article. After replacement, go to SYSTEM CHECK  .
