Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to DRAINING AND FILLING COOLING SYSTEM .
  2. Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.
  3. Remove the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector from the electrical harness at the intake manifold.

  4. Remove the coolant temperature sensor electrical connector from the intake manifold bracket.
  5. Remove the coolant temperature sensor from the cylinder head.
